JOMO Advisory is committed to minimising its impact on the environment by undertaking the following actions:

  • limiting greenhouse emissions through the preferential use of walking, public transport and ride sharing
  • offsetting greenhouse emissions for air travel
  • using Green Power
  • limiting paper waste through the preferential use of digital note taking and on screen presentations
  • commitment to exceed or comply with relevant legal environmental requirements
  • commitment to review this policy and identify opportunities to further minimise any operating impacts on the environment

Confidentiality and privacy statement

JOMO Advisory is committed to your privacy by undertaking the following actions:

  • any data required to perform client work is to be supplied with all personal identifiers removed
  • no details of any private, commercial or sensitive information are shared where an individual or organisation could be identified
  • to the extent that JOMO Advisory is bound by the National Privacy Principles (“NPPs”) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (“Privacy Act”). JOMO Advisory complies with the NPPs when handling personal information
  • all client engagements are treated with strict confidence
  • all data and information is secure from unauthorised access

 

OHS

JOMO Advisory maintains a OHS policy in line with Victorian legislation for businesses with fewer than 60 people. As a provider to many large corporate and government entities JOMO Advisory also understands clients’ obligations to OHS for their staff.

JOMO Advisory understands it has a legal obligation to:

  • ensure workplace health and safety e.g. control hazards such as: safety management; job safety; equipment and tools; fire safety and evacuation procedures; electricity; noise; business insurance; first aid; storage of chemicals; working at heights; manual handling; housekeeping, slips, trips and falls
  • assist injured workers
  • help injured workers return to work

Within the workplace we understand our obligations in workplace health and safety, are to:

  • Provide and maintain safe machinery and equipment, and safe systems of work.
  • Maintain the workplace in a safe condition.
  • Ensure safe use, handling, storage and transport of chemicals.
  • Provide employees with adequate facilities.
  • Keep records relevant to our employees’ health and safety.
  • Consult with employees on matters that may affect their health and safety.
  • Notify WorkSafe Victoria immediately of any:
    • workplace death
    • serious injury where medical treatment is required
    • incident that could have caused death or serious injury
  • Assist injured employees
  • Help injured workers return to work.
